Our Story
Art isn’t just expression
It’s resistance, remembrance, and rebirth.
Our story began in 2020, when two Hong Kong souls — both deeply in love with art and music — carried their passion across oceans to the United Kingdom. In a time of change and uncertainty, we found solace in creativity, and from that spark, Meow Meow Art & Cultural Tribe was born.
We wanted to create a space where the spirit of Hong Kong could live on: the courage to stand for what’s right, the diversity that colours our lives, the equality we strive for, and the unyielding desire for freedom that shapes our hearts.

Through exhibitions, performances, and music — especially classical music and piano artistry — we build bridges between cultures, voices, and generations. Every event is more than an artistic showcase; it’s a dialogue, a heartbeat, a shared moment of truth.
In this journey, we’re not just organizing events.
We’re nurturing a community — a tribe — that believes art can heal, connect, and transform.

Our Value
Creativity with Purpose
We believe art has the power to move people, to question, to inspire. Every piece we create or present carries meaning — a reflection of who we are, where we come from, and what we hope the world can be.

Cultural Connection
Born from Hong Kong, rooted in the UK, and reaching across borders — our work celebrates diversity. We bring people together through shared artistic experiences that transcend language and background.
Equality & Inclusion
We stand for equality in all its forms. Our platform welcomes every voice, ensuring that all artists — regardless of origin, belief, or identity — can shine and be heard.

Freedom of Expression
Freedom is at the heart of everything we do. We see creativity as an act of liberation — a way to tell stories that might otherwise remain untold.

Community & Compassion
Art flourishes in community. We foster an environment where empathy and respect guide our interactions, where collaboration replaces competition, and where every artistic journey is supported.
Meet The Team
Sandy is a passionate music educator who holds the LRSM Piano Performance Licentiate from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in the UK and has extensive experience in piano teaching and choral performance, including works such as Ravel’s Daphnis et Chloé and Mozart’s Requiem. Previously a senior piano teacher at Hong Kong’s GMC Music for 16 years and a first-round judge for the Hong Kong Youth and Piano Contest, Sandy continues to nurture emerging talent in the UK. She is also the founder of GiveMeAName, a singing group for Hongkongers, and co-founder of the Match Man, a Cantonese children’s musical project celebrating Hong Kong culture. Through her work, Sandy is committed to fostering artistic growth, encouraging cultural diversity, and preserving the rich musical heritage of Hong Kong. In 2024, she further extended her dedication to the music community as one of the organisers of the London Joy of Music Festival.
Zoe Ho is a piano and visual art educator and the founder of Meow Meow Art Lab, a creative space dedicated to nurturing imagination and inclusivity through art. With over a decade of experience in art and music education, she believes true art education goes beyond technique — it awakens creativity, builds confidence, and deepens one’s appreciation of beauty and colour. A Fine Arts graduate from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Zoe integrates art history and the works of master artists into her teaching, creating rich and inspiring learning experiences. Specialising in Impressionism and a painterly style, her artwork captures the poetic interplay of light and shadow in nature, as well as the vibrant spirit of children through expressive colour and texture. Through Meow Meow Art & Cultural Tribe and Meow Meow Art Lab, Zoe continues to inspire young creators to explore, imagine, and express — helping them grow not only as artists, but as confident individuals who see the world with curiosity and heart.
